POSTPONED: Stulsaft Stewards (Redwood City)

Stulsaft Stewards is a 10-week long afterschool program that aims to foster ideals of environmental stewardship, community, and leadership in local high school students. It is led by Grassroots Ecology and meets on Wednesday afternoons from 3-4:30 pm at Stulsaft Park (Goodwin Ave and Recreation Way entrance).

Throughout the program participants will:
- Assist in ongoing ecological restoration efforts at Stulsaft park (pulling weeds, planting native plants, watering)
- Learn about various environmental topics
- Connect with other high school students
- Create a positive environmental change in their community
Requirements: Stulsaft Stewards is open to high school age youth only. You must attend at least 5 of the 10 sessions to receive volunteer service credit.
Please bring:
- a reusable water bottle
- shoes and clothes that are appropriate for working in outdoor conditions (mud, rain, dust, dirt, sun, etc.)
