Learn the secrets to a successful, healthy and colorful succulent landscape from Janice Moody, a local Master Gardener, nursery owner and garden designer. She will discuss pre-planting considerations before you go out and buy a truckload of plants and then ponder where to put them. She will also provide garden design basics that include use of color, shapes, textures and heights, along with her favorite hardy landscape succulents for the Bay Area. And lastly, she will discuss how to care and maintain your succulents for a year-long healthy and colorful landscape.
Master Gardener Presenter Janice Moody: Janice is a native “coastsider” who grew up on a family-owned nursery, McCahon Nursery. She has worn many hats over the years, but finally found her true calling when she became a UC Master Gardener in 2010. This led to her current businesses, Seascapes Succulent Nursery and Seascapes Garden Design, specializing in year-round colorful and drought tolerant plants and gardens, located in Half Moon Bay. She loves sharing her knowledge and passion for sustainable gardening with the public.
