San Bruno Mountain Habitat Restoration Event

November 11, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

LOGISTICS AND ACCESSIBILITY :

  • We will be walking about 3/4 mile along a flat, well-maintained trail to our worksite, where we willuse hand tools to plant native plants. Our work will involve bending and kneeling.
  • Tools, gloves and direction will be provided.
  • We ask that you wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting dirty for your protection and comfort. Sunscreen, snacks, hats, and layers are also great to have on hand in case the weather gets warm or cold–San Bruno Mountain is famous for quick changes in temperature and windspeed! If weather conditions are deemed too extreme, this event may be canceled and we will reach out to participants by email.
  • Please bring a personal water bottle for each member of your group

A reminder email with more detailed instructions on the day’s activities and where to meet will also be sent in advance of the event. We look forward to seeing you in the parks!
