About this event

Description:  We are so lucky to live in a place with year-around gardening opportunities.  This time of year is perfect for planting your spring vegetables, seeding your summer garden and enjoying vibrant and tasty spring greens (kale, spinach, beets, lettuce, etc.) and dreaming about all the summer superstars coming next season: succulent tomatoes, gorgeous eggplant, colorful peppers, unusual and tasty cucumbers, summer squash, summer grown winter squash, fresh corn, edamame, basil —  summer abounds with possibilities!  In this class we will cover gardening from seed to harvest. There will be a focus on soil health and best practices for keeping your soil alive and well.  We will review how and why to compost to feed your soil, which in turn, feeds your plants!
