About this Event
Have you ever wondered how the Grassroots Ecology nursery grows thousands of locally native plants each year? Are you thinking of bringing native plants into your own garden? Join us for a conversation with Deanna Giuliano, our Nursery Director, as she takes us behind the scenes of our nursery and shares her tips for choosing the right natives for your space.
You’ll also get a sneak peek of our new native plant book, San Francisco Bay Area Native Plants for the Garden – available soon!
Q&A and discussion will follow the presentation. Be sure to bring your native plant gardening questions for Deanna!
The talk will take place over Zoom. The Zoom meeting link will be included in the confirmation email as well as on the online event page accessible after registration.
This event is open to all. Grassroots Ecology encourages people from all identities and backgrounds to participate in our programs.
