Hot Pile Backyard Composting Workshop (Online)

This workshop, instructed by local gardening and composting expert Najiha Al Asmar, will cover the basics of backyard hot pile composting via lecture and live demonstrations. By attending this workshop, San Mateo County residents qualify for a composting bin and discounted supplies.

If you don’t have access to a backyard, but would still like to compost, you’re in luck! Najiha will also cover how to join the Fresh Approach Community Compost Hub, a great option to get involved in composting at a community level.
