Foodware Aware Webinar and Expo (Online)

The City of Half Moon Bay (City) and County of San Mateo (County) want to make sure you have the resources to both recover from the pandemic, and be a part of a sustainable new normal to move towards a plastic-free future. The City’s new Disposable Foodware Ordinance will start being implemented on July 9th, 2021.
Attend this virtual workshop and expo (on Zoom) to:
- Learn about the impacts of foodware on our environment
- Discover the ins-and-outs of the new foodware ordinance in Half Moon Bay
- Find out what resources are available for your facility to comply with the new requirements and switch to better alternatives
- Hear from guest speakers Alejandra Warren (Plastic Free Future) and Veronika Vostinak (City of Half Moon Bay)
- Talk to vendors that can provide you more information about/procure compliant items, and if they have special discounts
