Climate Champion Series Workshop #1: Recycle Right (Online)

We’re excited to offer a new three-part Climate Champion Series (CCS), presented three subsequent Saturdays in June. This series of workshops connects recycling, composting, and climate-positive gardening as related actions to combat climate change. Each workshop can be attended alone, or as part of the series to build understanding of the interconnectedness of these practices that reduce emissions that lead to climate change.
CCS Workshop #1: Recycle Right – ONLINE
We’ll begin by discussing how recycling impacts climate change, and how global forces impact domestic recycling markets. Then we’ll move onto the nitty gritty of what does and doesn’t go into garbage, recycling, and compost carts in San Mateo County, and why.
