Climate Action Workshop – San Carlos (Online)

Join us virtually on February 9, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. to learn about the Climate Mitigation and Adaptation Plan or CMAP.

During the workshop, City staff and the consultant team will share updates on the CMAP process to date, draft language for greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction and adaptation strategies, and provide opportunities for feedback on new strategies. Workshop participants will:

• Hear what has been accomplished thus far in the CMAP process.
• Learn about progress made to achieve greenhouse gas reduction goals in San Carlos and where progress will need to occur in the future.
• See preliminary GHG reduction and adaptation strategies.
• Engage with members of the CMAP project team and share ideas on strategies to reduce GHG emissions and to expand adaptable planning techniques in the city.
