Volunteer for Water!
An unprecedented fire season has everyone hoping for rain. But what happens to water quality when those rains finally come? The First Rain project seeks volunteers to help answer this important question. The First Rain project is part of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary’s annual First Flush program, California’s longest-running community science project! Come help collect water samples in coastal creeks and waterways during the first big rain of the year.
No prior experience necessary. Training provided.
Training will be held on via Zoom on Thursday October 23, 2020 at 5:30PM
