Description:  This troubleshooting workshop will focus on backyard compost piles.  A similar one on October 12 will address vermicomposting and worm bins, with registration opening in September.

This 2-hour workshop will include:

  • Ten-minute review of backyard composting concepts
  • Answers to your questions (submitted by Wed., August 3)
  • Live Q&A

Do you have questions about your hot pile not heating up? Are you concerned that your cold pile is heating up? Does your pile have a foul odor? Are you wondering if finding bugs in your compost is normal?

Submit your questions by email to mgsmsfpubliced@gmail.com by August 3. Include photos and pertinent details. After August 3, just bring your questions to the workshop and we’ll address them then.

Who should attend: This is a class for people who are currently composting and have questions or challenges. Beginners are welcome, just be aware that this is not an introductory how-to class.
