IMG_3525 Want to learn more about bioswales? Come by the Half Moon Bay Library and chat with the Master Gardeners who will be constructing and planting a bioswale. Bioswales help introduce vegetation to urban landscapes and capture and clean rainwater.
This is part of the Green Streets Stewardship Program which promotes sustainable stormwater management through the long-term care of Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI). It aims to educate residents and community groups on the function and value GSI.
