Help pull invasive eucalyptus sprouts at the EUC-A-THON on Saturday, October 16th from 1pm to 5pm at Pie Ranch in Pescadero! This event will protect the land while raising funds for the post-fire recovery efforts of Amah Mutsun Land Trust, San Mateo RCD, and Pie Ranch. Register using this link. Eucalyptus were planted in California from their native Australia in the 1800’s because of their ability to grow quickly with hopes for use as timber. Unfortunately, their spread and displacement of native plant communities have substantially altered wildlands and increased communities’ fire risk. Be part of the solution!
